Employment & Business Visas

Practical immigration strategy for professionals, skilled workers, companies hiring international talent and investors building in the U.S.

Overview

Whether you are a professional building your career in the United States, an employer hiring international talent, or an investor opening a U.S. business, the right visa strategy protects your timeline and your goals.

Employment-based green cards are divided into preference categories, EB-1 through EB-5, based on the worker's qualifications and the type of job or investment. Many require a U.S. employer to sponsor the worker; some, like EB-1A and the EB-2 National Interest Waiver, let you petition for yourself. Most employer-sponsored cases begin with PERM labor certification, which tests the U.S. labor market before the employer files Form I-140.

For temporary work and business travel, visas such as the H-1B, L-1, E-2 and O-1 let companies hire, transfer and invest across borders. We also help employers stay compliant with Form I-9 and other workplace requirements, so an audit never becomes a crisis.
