Tips to become a US resident

Nadia Lewis from Lewis Law, a trusted advisor to both Immigration Attorney and WSFL-TV, recently appeared on Inside South Florida to discuss the process of acquiring and retaining U.S. residency.

According to Lewis, the initial step towards obtaining a green card is to have a petitioner submit an USCIS form I-30 on behalf of the foreign national. To renew one’s green card, applicants need to fill out a USCIS form I-90 to keep your status as a US resident up to date.
